The scene is a city during the fall. Yellow and red leaves are on trees and shrubs to the right and buildings, street-parked cars, and street traffic signs are to the left. Slightly off center a group of three people walk or wheel down a sidewalk away from the camera with their heads turned towards each other in conversation. One person wears a dark suit and has light blonde or gray hair. Another person appears young with reddish short hair and a green shirt. In between these two people who are walking is a person in a power wheelchair with short light brown hair.

More than ever, students with disabilities are taking advantage of the same opportunities abroad that non-disabled students pursue, gaining personal and professional skills in the process. And they’re not just sticking to the traditional destinations! Students with diverse types of disabilities have taken Hindi lessons in India; conducted thesis research in Trinidad; interned abroad in South Africa. During this webinar, an international exchange alum with a disability will reflect on her study and intern abroad experiences in China and England. A representative from a non-profit organization will describe resources for exploring international opportunities and planning for disability access.
