As California faces the challenges brought by excessive winds and ongoing wildfires, we want to share information that we hope will support those affected by these natural disasters. We encourage individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable populations to seek out resources and accommodations they need from a variety of government and nonprofit services:
Federal
  • Ready.gov: Visit https://www.ready.gov/ or download the Ready.gov app for information on preparing for natural disasters, including hurricanes, wildfires, and severe weather events.
  • https://www.fema.gov/: Download the FEMA app to access emergency shelters, emergency planning kits, and alerts from the National Weather Service.
